# Choose which notifications you get

Agent Mission Control user guide > Account & notifications

> Turn in-app and email notifications on or off, and understand the notification bell.

**Who can do this:** Everyone

## Change your notification preferences

1. Select your avatar in the top bar to open your profile.
2. Select **Notification preferences**.
3. Check or clear a box in the **In-app** or **Email** column. Each change saves immediately.

You can also go straight to `/preferences` in your AMC address.

## What you can change today

Other rows on the page (new thread messages, overdue interventions, unassigned interventions, budget events, and skipped runs) are marked **Coming soon** and can't be changed yet.

## The notification bell

- The bell shows open interventions assigned to you where the agent spoke last. The badge counts them, up to **9+**.
- The dropdown lists up to five. Overdue ones are marked. Select one to open it.
- There is no mark-as-read. An item leaves the bell when you reply or the intervention closes.
- Select **View all human interventions** for the full list.
- Budget, workflow, and system events are sent by email, not to the bell.

> **Note:** Email only arrives once your administrator connects an email service. If you get no email at all, see [Set up email notifications](https://www.agentmissioncontrol.ai/guide/email-setup/) or ask your Tenant Admin.
