# Sign in and manage your profile

Agent Mission Control user guide > Account & notifications

> What your profile shows, where your name comes from, and how to sign out.

**Who can do this:** Everyone

## Open your profile

Select your avatar in the top bar. The profile panel shows your **Email**, **First Name**, **Last Name**, **Description**, and **Role**, plus links to **Notification preferences** and **Sign out**.

Your name and email come from your organization's identity provider, so the panel is read-only. To change them, update your account with your IT team.

> **Note:** The **Role** on your profile is a label. What you can do comes from governance roles. See [Roles and permissions](https://www.agentmissioncontrol.ai/guide/roles-and-permissions/).

## Sign out

Open your profile and select **Sign out**.
