# Troubleshooting and FAQ

> What sign-in messages mean and answers to the questions people ask most.

## Sign-in messages

| Message says | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| Your session expired | Sign in again. |
| We couldn't restore your session | Check your connection, then sign in again. |
| Your identity provider hasn't verified your email | Verify your email with your identity provider, then sign in. |
| This account has been deactivated | Ask your administrator to reactivate you. |
| Sign-in isn't set up for this organisation | Check the address you used, or ask your administrator. |
| This email address already belongs to another account | Ask your administrator to fix the duplicate. |
| Sign-in didn't complete | Try again. If it keeps happening, contact your administrator. |

## Common questions

| Question | Answer |
| --- | --- |
| I signed in but see almost nothing. | You have no department yet. Ask a Tenant Admin to add you to one and grant you a role. |
| I can't see Governance or Agents. | Your role doesn't include them, or your organization has no departments yet. See [Roles and permissions](https://www.agentmissioncontrol.ai/guide/roles-and-permissions/). |
| My profile says Admin but I can't do admin things. | The profile role is a label. Ask for a governance role. |
| I don't get any email. | Email is off until an admin connects it under **Settings > Notifications**. Also check your [notification preferences](https://www.agentmissioncontrol.ai/guide/notification-preferences/). |
| Can I pause or restart a run? | No. You can cancel a run. A run waiting on a person resumes when someone replies. |
| Why can't I reply to an intervention? | Replying needs the Department Manager role for that department, or Tenant Admin. Withdrawn or completed threads can't take replies. |
| Run now is grayed out. | You have no enabled workflow types you're allowed to run in your departments. |
| My run was blocked by budget. | The department hit its cap. [Request a budget override](https://www.agentmissioncontrol.ai/guide/budgets-and-overrides/). |
| A registration says Access not granted. | Grant AMC's managed identity a role on the resource, then save it again. |

## Still stuck

Contact your AMC administrator first. Admins can reach the AMC team with the version number from **Settings > System**.
