Go to Settings > Users and select Add User.
- Go to Settings > Users and select Add User.
- Enter Full name and Email address. The email is the person's sign-in identity and can't be changed later.
- Choose a base Role (Admin or Manager). This is a label only.
- Save. Then grant a governance role so the person can do anything.
Grant or revoke a governance role
- In Settings > Users, select Manage in the person's Governance Roles column.
- Select Add role, choose the Role, and for Department Manager pick the departments.
- Optional: add a reason. Select Grant role.
To revoke, remove the role and enter a reason; revoking always requires one.
- A person must sign in once before they can be granted a role.
- Super Admins grant Super Admin and Tenant Admin. Tenant Admins grant Department Manager.
- You can't remove your own Super Admin role, and the last Super Admin can't be removed.
- Every grant and revoke is written to the audit log.
Create a department
- Go to Settings > Departments and select Add department.
- Enter a Department name.
- Use Add a workflow to assign workflows, and Add a department manager to assign managers.
- Select Save changes.
Creating the first department turns on budgets, overrides, and the Governance page. You can also assign someone to departments from the Departments column in Settings > Users.
Deactivate a user
In Settings > Users, select Deactivate user on the person's row. They're refused at sign-in and signed out everywhere. Select Reactivate user to restore access with the roles they still hold. You can't deactivate yourself, and only a Super Admin can deactivate a Super Admin or Tenant Admin.
